I'm taking Spanish this semester, and I've discovered an amazing use for ai homework helper tools. I don't use it to write my assignments for me, but I use it as a conversation partner. I'll type something in Spanish, and it will correct my grammar and suggest more natural phrasing. I'll ask it to explain why a certain verb conjugation is used. I'll ask it to generate practice sentences for specific vocabulary. It's like having a patient, non-judgmental language tutor who's available at 2 AM.
My speaking and writing have improved so much because I can practice without fear of embarrassment. Has anyone else used AI for language learning? What are your tips? And do you think this is ethically different from using it for other subjects? To me, it feels like a tool, not cheating.
