Anyone else overwhelmed with Chemistry coursework? So, after transferring from Pasadena City College to Berkeley, decided to take Chemistry class to fulfill requirement. Man, what was thinking? As an English Lit major, my brain just doesn't work like that! The balancing of equations feels more complicated than deciphering Shakespearean sonnets. And don't get me started on the labs! Mean, Also, guys, how much does it cost to live near Berkeley? My roommates and are hunting for an apartment but the rents seem sky-high. Swear, trying to calculate my budget makes me feel like I'm in another Chem class lots of numbers and absolutely no fun! Just wondering if anyone can give me ballpark figure of the monthly expenses around here? You know, rent, utilities, groceries all that fun adult stuff. And any tips for surviving this Chem class would be more than welcome too! Hoping some fellow students or recent grads can shed some light on this. This Chemistry coursework is really giving me run for my money. It's like trying to understand Beowulf in its original Old English format confusing and downright mind-boggling!
