I've been teaching Music up north at San Francisco State University for the last years, but now I'm here to seek some advice about Cal Poly SLO ngl. You see, my niece will be joining the university this Fall as freshman super excited for her! From my own experience, know universities can be their own little universe with unique traditions and unwritten rules. What should she expect? Any insider tips for first-years at Cal Poly SLO? Side note she's majoring in Agriculture Business. If anyone has specific insights into that department, it'd be fantastic. In the meantime, while she's exploring the golden state's central coast, any suggestions on must-visit spots around San Luis Obispo? And switching gears slightly my son might end up at Santa Clara University studying Engineering any thoughts on their program and job opportunities after graduation? Appreciate all your wisdom!
