I have ADHD (diagnosed). Sitting down to write is actual torture. My brain goes: open laptop, oh look a notification, check phone, oh I need water, get water, oh the window is dirty, clean window, back to laptop, what was I doing?
Two hours later, I've written nothing. My meds help but don't fix everything.
I need strategies that work for chaotic brains. Not "just focus" because that's not how this works.
Anyone with ADHD have actual techniques that help? I'm desperate. The paper is due Friday.
