I'm waist-deep in classes, research, and you guessed it student loans. I've heard lot about Cal Grant scholarships and I'm thinking of applying. It sounds like lifesaver, but the process seems pretty daunting. Anyone have any experience they could share? When was doing my undergrad back in Texas, wasn't too proactive about seeking financial aid and boy do regret it. Now, as look at these California tuitions (you can practically hear my bank account whimpering), know need to take action. On another note, if anyone is curious about life as grad student here at or about Biomedical Engineering as study field, don't hesitate to hit me up. And for those of you thinking about San Francisco State University, my cousin's been teaching there for years and she loves it! She's always available for quick chat about campus life or their curriculum. So back to the Cal Grant thing any tips on nailing the application? Or maybe some insight on what the scholarship committee really looks for? Any advice would be mega appreciated!ew
