Yo, what's up fellow Cali students!
This semester at UC San Diego has been a rollercoaster ride for me. I'm a 22-year-old Bioengineering major hailing from a small town in NorCal, dreaming of becoming a teacher in our awesome Cali public schools. When I'm not buried in textbooks, you can catch me hustling with my lil' online biz. But lately, homesickness has been hitting me hard.
Currently tackling Biochemistry, Genetics, and Medical Device Design – talk about a heavy load! On top of that, I'm neck-deep in a research competition, juggling medical school apps, and racking up lab hours like it's going out of style. So, here's the tea – I've gotta present at UC soon and nerves are creeping in. Any tips on how to slay my first speech? As a pre-med student with mad love for research, I wanna bring my A-game but the pressure is real. Anyone else been through this? Hit me up with your wisdom!
