Sixth College offers two ways to meet with advisors: drop-in sessions and scheduled appointments. For "drop-in advising" , you can meet via Zoom for *"15-minute advising sessions"* during posted hours . You need to "sign in at least 15 minutes before the end of the advising period" .

During drop-in sessions, advisors can:
  • "Review the degree audit and general-education requirements"
  • "Advise students on their short-term enrollment goals"
  • "Refer students to appropriate resources"
  • "Conduct graduation checks"
For more complex issues, you can schedule a *"30-minute appointment"* for topics like long-term planning, academic difficulty, or withdrawal from the quarter . Appointments can be scheduled "one week in advance" starting Week 2 .

Has anyone used both? Which do you prefer? ✅
