Just mom of twins who are about to embark on their first semester at Mount San Antonio College. I've got the full-on double dose of butterflies here, worrying about them making friends, managing classes, and settling in just fine. Twins or not, it's nerve-racking, right? One thing I'm curious about how's the support for new students? My kiddos are usually independent, but they’ve never been in such big pond before. Any experienced parents or students can offer any insight into what the first few weeks look like? Anyone got some survival tips they wish they'd known their first time round? On the side note, I'm also hunting for campus-friendly snack recipes that can fit into tiny dorm fridges. Got any favorites? Hoping this will ease some nerves over here. Thanks! And hey there! I'm fresh off the boat at Santa Clara University and was wondering if anyone could suggest some good quiet spots for studying on campus? The library is great and all, but sometimes change of scenery does wonders for concentration, you know?
