Hey everyone, Like said, Just quick intro I'm proud dad of two Cal Tech students, doing their best to ride the tide of university life. One of them's knee-deep in Calculus, and it's safe to say, it's not their favorite subject! They're finding it tougher than expected and it got me thinking. Anyone else feeling the calculus crunch? Also been doing bit of hunting for scholarships at Davis for my younger one who's all set to step into university life soon. God knows we could use some help with tuition fees! If anyone has any insider tips on securing one, shoot them my way. It would be great if bit more on the calculus side remember back in my college days (many moons ago), calculus was just blip on the radar. But hearing my kid's experiences, it sounds like more than just solving problems, it's about wrapping your head around these intricate concepts. Anyone got any wisdom to impart, maybe some strategies or resources they found useful? Ending on lighter note here: between searching for scholarships and attempting to decipher calculus equations (with little success, must admit), sometimes find myself dreaming of integrals and derivatives.
