Anyone have tips to conquer writer's block?

Hey guys, Yep, write lot of emails, reports, proposals, you name it! But man, when that dreaded block strikes it’s like my brain just hangs up its boots. There are times when I'd rather wrangle with classroom full of overly caffeinated freshmen than face that blinking cursor on blank Word doc! I've tried all sorts setting deadlines, taking walks, switching locations nothing really sticks. So hey, if any of you have figured out this beast or have some secret tricks up your sleeve to fight the block lay 'em on me! Basically, What works for you when you're stuck in rut with writing? Is there any magic potion that can get those creative juices flowing again? ~~~ Alright folks, onto another conundrum here. Student just approached me about choosing between UCLA and Berkeley for Computer Science. Now don’t get me wrong both schools have great programs! But bet each one has its own unique flavor. Here’s where turn to you beautiful people for some intel. Any of you majored in at either of these institutions?
