My dream is to conduct research at a national lab one day, but right now, I'm feeling lost trying to navigate those UC transfer requirements. 😅 On top of that, dealing with imposter syndrome is making it all even trickier. Currently diving deep into Cinematography, Film Theory, and Screenwriting classes, but struggling with film production logistics like equipment rentals and creative collaborations. 🎬

USC's student loans are a whole new maze to me - anyone else feeling overwhelmed by the financial side of things? Could use some guidance on how to handle student loans at USC - any tips on navigating the process?

Any fellow California students here who've tackled this challenge before? Share your stories! 🌟 Excited to hear your thoughts and experiences! Let's help each other out in this wild college journey.

First, definitely check out financialaid.usc.edu/loans . They break down Direct Subsidized vs Unsubsidized loans. Subsidized means the government pays interest while you're in school (huge!). Unsubsidized accrues interest immediately. Both beat private loans which have fewer protections. Also, the entrance counseling on studentaid.gov is mandatory but actually helpful!
