Im a sophomore at UC Berkeley: any tips for balancing academics and extracurriculars?

As someone who's all about understanding the mind and behavior, I'm super into experiment design, statistical analysis, and applying theories - but dang, it can get overwhelming sometimes! I've been trying to juggle my academics with extracurriculars lately, and I'm on the lookout for some tips on how to strike that balance.

fr any fellow golden bears out there who've cracked the code on managing schoolwork and activities without losing their minds? personally, i find myself being observant in class discussions, analytical when tackling research assignments, and always striving to be empathetic in my interactions with peers. But when it comes to spreading my time thin between studying and joining clubs or volunteering (like at the local psych clinic), I could use some guidance. How do you all handle deadlines for research papers while also making it to club meetings or events? Is there a secret UC Berkeley schedule hack I'm missing out on?

And hey, if any of you are Psychology majors too, how do you apply what you're learning in class to your extracurricular involvements? Thanks for any advice you can offer - I'm hopeful that with a little help from my Cal community, I can ace this balancing act!
