I'm an State Gator, proudly hatched back in '87, who's been swimming around in the Silicon Valley since graduation. Armed with major in electrical engineering and some serious determination, I've been tinkering around in the tech industry for decades now. To be honest, Anyway, that's enough about this old Gator. I'm actually here because my kid is starting to look at colleges (time flies! And Pepperdine University seems to be top of their list. And boy, don't get me started on the financial aid process! It's like trying to decode hieroglyphics. Do any of you good folks have experience navigating Pepperdine's financial aid waters? Or maybe tips on taming the wild beast that is FAFSA? Any wisdom you could share would be much appreciated. Also, if there are any fellow tech heads who went through college juggling coding projects with part-time jobs, how did you manage it all? My kid’s thinking about working while studying, but I’m not so sure given the rigors of tech curriculum and all. Keep it real out there
. Your advice might just save frazzled parent (and aspiring engineer) from total meltdown!
