Currently tackling Cell Biology, Ecology, and Genetics, but the real challenge for me is finding solid research opportunities in the field. I'm passionate about the entertainment industry and love writing for our campus newspaper - it's my creative outlet amidst all the science stuff. However, with grad school on the horizon, I'm feeling the pressure to beef up my research experience. idk any fellow highlanders know where to start looking for research gigs or internships related to biology around california?
i'm all about getting hands-on experience and making connections in the community. Also, any tips on balancing commuting and grad school prep? It's a juggle! Also, just got accepted to Stanford (woohoo!) but the cost is giving me anxiety.
Any advice on snagging scholarships or financial aid specifically aimed at Bio majors?
Thanks for any insights y'all can offer! Let's help each other navigate this crazy college journey together.
