I originally planned to major in a whole different field, but now I'm knee-deep in my Psychology PhD journey! My goal? To eventually start my own biz On top of that, I'm all about that student government life! But lemme tell ya, dealing with financial stress is no joke Currently tackling Advanced Stats, Research Design, and Doctoral Seminar - juggling TA duties and battling imposter syndrome like a champ Any advice on navigating UC student loan repayment options? The best thing I did was use the Federal Student Aid website to see ALL my loans in one place. You log in with your FSA ID and it shows everything - loan types, balances, interest rates, servicers. Then I made a spreadsheet cause honestly keeping track is a nightmare.

For grad students, the big thing is understanding that unsubsidized loans accrue interest while you're in school. If you can pay even a little interest during school, do it. That interest capitalizes later and it HURTS.
