Originally, I planned on going pre-med, but now I'm all about saving the planet through environmental conservation. When I'm not buried in textbooks, you can catch me hustling in student government - gotta keep those leadership skills sharp, right? 💪

I'm stressing over MCAT prep, racking up research hours, and trying to maintain that killer GPA. 😅 Lab research is eating me alive lately – does anyone have tips for keeping it together and staying on top of things?

The future feels like a giant question mark right now, and it's got me in a tizzy. 😬 How do you fellow Cal State students handle the pressure of balancing academics with extracurriculars? Any advice on crushing the research game without losing my mind? Hit me up with your wisdom! 🌟

Wait wait wait... pre-med TO environmental conservation? That's like the ultimate plot twist! 📺 From saving humans to saving the planet - honestly respect that pivot so much.

Lab research tip: stop trying to be perfect. Seriously. My first semester in lab I wasted hours redoing things that were already fine because I was scared of messing up. Your mentors expect mistakes. Learn and move on.

Keep a research journal. Not for your PI, just for yourself. Write down what you did each session, what confused you, what clicked. After a few weeks you'll be shocked how much you've actually learned and it helps with that "am i even making progress" anxiety that kills motivation in long research cycles. It also makes writing reports and presentations way easier later because you have a personal log to pull from rather than trying to remember everything from memory.
