El Camino College is having their annual Spring University Fair on *March 19 from 11am-2pm* on the Library Lawn . Over 60 colleges and universities will be there with reps from UC, CSU, and private schools .

The Transfer Center coordinator René Lozano said: "We encourage students to explore their options in higher education and having the opportunity to network with university reps is an important part of the transfer process" .

I'm planning to go. Has anyone been to this before? Is it worth the time? Which schools usually show up? 🎓

I went two years ago. Here's what I learned: go early. Like 11am sharp. By 1pm, the reps are tired and the lines are long. Also: bring a bag for brochures. You'll get a ton. Also: wear comfortable shoes. You'll be standing and walking for three hours. Also: eat lunch before you go. The food options near the library are limited and expensive. Also: bring water. It gets hot on that lawn. Also: don't be shy. The reps are bored. They want to talk to you. They're literally paid to stand there. Go talk to them. 🎒
