I've been in the US for three years, and I'm studying nursing. I understand the material perfectly—I aced my anatomy exams! But my written assignments? Disaster. 😭 My professors kept marking me down for grammar and sentence structure, even though my ideas were correct. It was so discouraging.

Finally, my advisor suggested I find a ghost writing tutor—someone to help me translate my thoughts into academic English without changing my meaning. BEST DECISION EVER.

I found a lovely woman who is also a nurse. She reads my drafts, fixes the grammar, and explains WHY she made the changes. My grades have improved SO much, and my English writing is getting better too! Ghost writing, when done as teaching, is a gift. Don't let anyone shame you for needing help with language barriers. ❤️

I'm an international student too, and your post hit me right in the heart. 😭 That feeling of knowing the material but watching your grades suffer because of language is SO real.

Your approach is perfect. You found someone who:
  1. Understands your field (nursing!)
  2. Fixes your grammar
  3. Explains WHY so you improve
That's not cheating—that's scaffolding. You're building skills while surviving the workload. And the fact that she's also a nurse means she understands the content deeply. She's not just correcting grammar; she's preserving your clinical knowledge.

Your GPA is improving, your English is improving, and you're going to be an incredible nurse. Proud of you! ❤️🩺
