I've been reading student reviews of Cabrillo College to figure out my transfer plan. Here's what I'm learning.

The marine biology program is strong. Multiple reviews mention that the program is “hands-on” and “professors are invested.” One student said: “We go to the beach for class. You can't beat that.”

The transfer support is real. A reviewer wrote: “Cabrillo has articulation agreements with UCSC. My advisor mapped out my entire transfer path. I knew exactly which classes to take.”

The campus is beautiful. Several reviews mention the “ocean views” and “peaceful atmosphere.” One student said: “It's a commuter school, but the setting makes it special.”

The challenge is competition. Another student said: “Marine bio is popular. Get your prerequisites done early. Classes fill up.”

My plan: I'll meet with my advisor immediately. I'll follow the transfer pathway closely. I'll apply early. I'm not expecting a perfect path, but I'm confident Cabrillo is the right start.
