Hey all!
I've recently fallen down the Markdown rabbit hole and I'm never going back. It's just so clean and efficient for formatting without taking my hands off the keyboard. I write everything in Markdown now—notes, articles, and now my first draft.
I'm looking for the best free writing software that has first-class Markdown support. What I really need is a split-screen view: one pane for my raw Markdown text, and a live-updating, beautifully rendered preview pane next to it. Exporting to PDF or Word (for when I have to send drafts to non-techy people) is also a must.
I've tried Ghostwriter and loved it, but I'm curious if there are any other good options for Windows or Linux. What do you use for a pure Markdown writing experience? Help a syntax-lover out!
